A course in research designs, methods, and techniques used in design-based research (intermediate level)
27, 28, 29, 30, 31 August 2012
Target group: researchers who investigate the results of specific design practices and experiments in a evidence-based manner
This programme will be most valuable for researchers who already designed their empirical research and are in the early stages of conducting it. Participants have the opportunity to work with their own data sets.
The number of participants is limited to 25.
After registration, participants are asked to complete a template with some details regarding the ongoing research and their background knowledge. In order to form peer groups, we also ask to include an abstract.
Preferably, at the start of the Summer School,
- the research design is present and the research questions are clear.
- the data are (partially) collected and are already digitally available
- the participant has some basic knowledge regarding qualitative and quantitative research methods
